Perhaps volcanic eruptions, industrial pollution, oil spills and toxic clouds won’t be viewed as ecological disasters but as economical opportunities. Using advances in biotechnology, geoengineering and robotics, harvesting the extremely diluted minerals scattered all around us might become viable.
